I work at FedEx and it is a requirement to wear safety shoes. I’ve been using a cheap brand from Wal-Mart for a couple years, and they wear out very fast because of the surfaces I have to walk on. I was wanting to get a more expensive pair of composite toed shoes so that I can be reimbursed for them when they wear out. But I was hoping to find a pair that wouldn’t wear out too fast. I walk on a lot of grip tape/paint and concrete, so I was looking for a good sole on them, and hopefully have them be waterproof because I have to work outside most of the time. I’ve been looking for about a week and haven’t been able to find a pair that seem to make people happy (according to ratings).

Does anyone know of a great pair of composite toed shoes (preferable hiker style boots) that are under 0?

Alright, I’ve been painting my lowtop, canvas Converse, and I’m look for a replacement for paint varnish, so the shoes will be waterproof and the paint won’t crumble as quickly.

I’ve been using acrylic paints, by the way, and I haven’t painted on thick layers.

i was going to start making myself custom shoes from cheap white ones i’ve bought. What would be the best WATERPROOF shoe paint to use in your opinion?

Assuming that I would use a certain type of paint or medium to customise my own pair of Converse All-Stars, what would it be?

I’m planning to customise my All-Stars but I want to know what medium is the best (something which wouldn’t fade easily or something waterproof, etc.)
