It’s is POURING outside and there are huge puddles everywhere! I don’t want to go out, but I have to. Are all Sperry’s waterproof. When I bought them, the box said something about "wet". When I googled to see if they were waterproof, I didn’t find the answer I was looking for. I know they are boat shoes. So, can they get wet without messing up?

I am currently debating to get one of two pairs of shoes. The Sperry Top-Sider Authentics and the Macbeth Manchesters. I tried both of thek today and i liked both of them equally the Macbeths were one of the compfertable shoes I have ever tried on and I really liked the Sperrys because they were really compfertable and all of the reviews say that they are extremely compfertable aftrr they get broken in. The Sperrys were and the Macbeths were but i wouldnt mind paying more for thr boat shoes because they are kindoff a mix between a casual/street shoe and a dress shoe. So both mature at times and then cool shoes the next. And I kinda want to get a pair of shoes that aren’t skate shoes. Which is what i have forn for years. So the Sperrys will he the first for me. Plus i think they will last longer. But the Macbeths are probably a much cooler and stylish shoe. Please help! I dont know what to do.
