like do the streets get wet so that waterproof boots are needed?
Okay… so I’m going to New York for two weeks, and I need to know what shoes to bring, without over-packing. I’m from Miami, so it’s hard to come by cold-weather wear, and I’m not even exactly sure what I’ll be needing. So far, I’m bringing my Ugg boots, a nice pair of black pumps for dressier stuff, and a pair of walking shoes. What about days it rains and the possibility of snow? What is a good waterproof boot for stuff like that? I want to be practical, AND stylish. I need shoe help!
I work at FedEx and it is a requirement to wear safety shoes. I’ve been using a cheap brand from Wal-Mart for a couple years, and they wear out very fast because of the surfaces I have to walk on. I was wanting to get a more expensive pair of composite toed shoes so that I can be reimbursed for them when they wear out. But I was hoping to find a pair that wouldn’t wear out too fast. I walk on a lot of grip tape/paint and concrete, so I was looking for a good sole on them, and hopefully have them be waterproof because I have to work outside most of the time. I’ve been looking for about a week and haven’t been able to find a pair that seem to make people happy (according to ratings).
Does anyone know of a great pair of composite toed shoes (preferable hiker style boots) that are under 0?
This might seem like a stupid question but i’ve just started running and my current trainers aren’t waterproof and where i run is on grass which is often wet so i often get soaking feet! Most of the trainers i’ve looked at have mesh tops (obviously to stop your feet from getting too hot). Any recommendations for suitable trainers which don’t break the bank? Thanks
I’m thinking about wearing this to a baseball game tomorrow.

Do you think this is ok for just casual wear?
What are your opinions on the boat shoes? Do you think they look good on girls?
I am having the most trouble deciding on the best shoes to buy for working around the barn. I would love to just do get a few pairs of converse but water seeps through and you get water logged!
I was going to buy a pair of Mudruckers but I’m not sure if they would look of with shorts. I want something I can wear with jeans and shorts that looks professional and decent but is waterproof and will hold up to daily chores.
Any suggestions?
I wear a size 9.5-10 shoe so I’m at another disadvantage because most shoes look like clown shoes haha!
Do you think it would look unprofessional to wear wellies if youre working at a barn?
CLO: I so agree! I personally wouldn’t care but because I am looking for a job at a barn and potentially a high class facility I just want to look presentable. You know those show people, theyre very judgemental and snoody but theyre the ones giving me the horse’s to ride so you have to "sell yourself" in a sense.
I would welcome any advice as to what kind of shoes people have had good luck with at Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando. We are going in a few weeks and we have been before but now our kids are all into the water rides where as they weren’t before. My DH says our good old tennis shoes and socks worked last time and they should be OK this time as well. However, we never had to worry about getting wet before and I really am not looking forward to walking around all day with wet, squishy feet. Also, we are not staying on site so it wouldn’t be feasible for us to go back to the hotel and change. We are especially go to be at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure because we got the 7 day passes and they have the most water rides.
Has anyone worn Crocs or similar shoes with success there? We all have them (except DH!) and I find them not so attractive but very comfy and breathable-not to mention waterproof! Any thoughts?
I am traveling to England this October and I am wondering what the best type of shoes to get are. [More specifically, I will be using London as my hub and tranveling all over England].
I’m thinking about buying some running shoes, since I will be walking Everywhere! but I am not sure if I need to find a waterproof option?
I would REALLY like to hear from some people who are from England or who have actually experienced the wetness! If you have any specific brands or style you like, I would love to hear about them!
Sorry, but will someone please explain to me what trainers means exactly over there?
something waterproof and kinda dirtproof
dark raw denim skinny jeans, boat shoes + argyle socks, navy gingham shirt + black tie, under a black blazer, maybe with a pocket square. more or less a smart semi casual look. is this ok?

I am planning to paint on a white pair of Vans using black paint, the material of the shoes is canvas fabric i think. Problem is, i dont know what brand of paint is best.
I need paint that is waterproof and/or wont smear and is durable for everyday use. I’ll be actually wearing the shoes when im done lol.

I am at college and I need some boots for when it starts snowing and I am walking across campus. I don’t really like the big and bulky boots and I definitely am not an ugg person.
Does anyone think these are waterproof? http://www.roxy.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3537402
or these and do you like them?
