Original handcrafted Leather Boat, Deck Shoes
where can i find it????????
I live in costa mesa, ca a few miles away from the beach and I like to go running there. I wear my regular shoes and socks, but sometimes I really want to run through the water not deep, just partially. I tried it out with my regular gear, but my shoes and socks were soaked and wouldnt dry. Im thinking if i can get some waterproof tennis shoes that dry really fast and socks that dry really fast so i can run int he water a little bit and then rest in the sand and wait for my shoes and socks to dry before going home in soaking shoes.
Do these even exist?
I want my boots super waterproof but not exactly shiny…
I basically want the water to just roll off. I heard that mink oil is for leather shoes/boots that already have a finish to them. Is it a good idea for fake leather? I’m not sure what else I can use for making them waterproof. Suggestions?
I don’t know what kind of product I should use instead of mink oil. Ideas?
Where I live it gets to be like 90 on average in the summer so shorts are a must. I need new outfits as I decided to start dressing nice in a casual way. For the winter I went with nice button downs and collared shirts, etc. with black Pumas for shoes. What outfits would suit me for summer wear? And maybe start with boat shoes?
My friend and I are going to be traveling in Europe for three months. I am only taking one pair of shoes (aside from shower sandals), and am having a hard time deciding what to buy. We’re not planning on doing a lot of serious hiking, but we’re definitely going to be doing a lot of walking and exploring. I have flat feet and weak ankles. I was thinking of getting a nice pair of waterproof hiking boots – that way I’d get ankle support and stay dry when the weather’s bad. But I’ve never had hiking boots before. Would they be uncomfortable to wear every day for three months straight? Would it be better to just get a pair of motion control running shoes (what I normally wear) and forget about waterproof? I backpacked in South Africa a couple of years ago and climbed a couple of mountains in running shoes, and remember really wishing I had hiking boots. I’m just concerned about the ‘every day for three months’ thing.
Any recommendations from fellow travelers/casual hikers/people with flat feet?
Thanks!
i wear my boots untied around work and after work my toes and the inside near my toes are a little damp. are my feet sweating? this doesnt happen in my other shoes. also there insulated and waterproof.
Specifically looking for ideas for a pair of shoes that are all of the following-
-casual
-waterproof, can wear in rain.
-comfortable for long wear: not a really high heel or anything.
-trendy, stylish
-looks good with black leggings
I suppose boots would be ok, but all of the cute ones are not good for rain. What about shoes? Any ideas?

I have fungus on both my big toes and next week we have to swim publicly for p.e and i am very self concious about my toe nail fungus…we are not allowed to wear band aids or water shoes…my last option is to my waterproof toe nails before swimming online, do you know where i can buy some artificial toenails that are for men? thanks in advance

My boyfriend is extremely hard on his shoes – he wore out his last pair in a matter of a few months. What’s a good company that makes quality boots that will stand up to a lot of wear and tear, without breaking the bank? I’d like them to be waterproof, too. It’d also be helpful to hear which brands NOT to buy. Thanks!!
I want to draw on my plain shoes but only have a black fabric pen and I don’t even though if that is waterproof the woman in the shop only said you should iron it afterwards for a better outcome :L

Okay, I bought these shoes in brown years ago from American Eagle and they are the loves of my life! However, I’ve worn them in so much that I really like can’t even wear them anymore and I have been trying to find a pair similar for sooooooo long with no success. I do not like flip flops with thicker soles, that’s why I love these (Because the bottom is thinner). If you can find these (IN ANYY COLOR) or a pair really, really similar, please please pleaseeee. Thanks everyone! ![]()

I got some diluted bleach on my clothes today while I was cleaning. I think it was around 25% bleach and 75% water… will that damage my clothes, and if so, how long will it take to show up?
And what about leather shoes, I got some on my leather boots too, but I cleaned them off and conditioned them immediately. They were waterproof if that makes any difference.
I have 1 and a half year old female Australian cattle dog. Whenever I wear my hiking boots she will sniff them then run away in fear. But if I take them off seconds later and put them in the house she is fine. If the shoes are in the house when we let her in and she finds them she again sniffs them and runs away, she is vivsibly scared and smoewhat shaking. Does anyone know hwat could be causing this, is there a way that I can teach her not to "fear" these boots? As for the shoes they are Hi-Tec Coronado waterproof hiking boots.
