I painted with acrylic paint some fake leather shoes and the plastic wedge heel to a color i liked better. is there something i can put over it to seal the paint? that will not crack when shoes are bent…?

I wasn’t sure if there would be some weird effect where the shoe polish wouldn’t go on properly or work correctly.

I just got some tall leather boots, and I want to know what the best way is to waterproof them. I’m going to be walking around in the rain a lot, maybe through puddles. But I don’t want to ruin how they look either. They’re black leather.
Also, I can’t wait for them to dry — I need to be able to wear them days in a row, even if it’s raining…
Do you have experience waterproofing leather shoes? Please tell me all you can!!
Especially important– I really to know how well waterproofing will actually work. My grandma said that when she used to try to waterproof them, they always ended up getting wet and you had to let them dry before you could wear them again… but that was back in the day, so maybe things have changed.

Can I use Fed-Seal, Vulca-Seal or any other elastomeric sealant to waterproof my shoes? If not, what better product can I use to waterproof them?
I plan to apply some along the seams of the shoe inside, the seams area exposed when you remove the insoles of the shoe. By the way, these are Hush Puppies Stoneridge black nubuck leather shoes.

I just got a job waiting tables and have to wear white and black. What are some comfortable/waterproof/slip-proof and stylish shoes that i could wear. Price is not really a concern (under 100 – 115 bucks though).

I wanted to customize my own plain white canvas TOMS but I’m not sure exactly how. I’ve heard about the ChalkInk markers but I was wondering if there was any other way to do it? Could I use fine tip sharpies and finish off with a waterproof spray? Do fabric markers really work fine on canvas?

I just bought a really nice pair of Sperry Top Siders and I need to break them in. I have never owned a pair of deck shoes before so my feet aren’t used to the feel, and as a result I keep getting blisters on the back of my heels. What is the best way to break them in so this doesn’t happen?

They are pleather with rubber soles. I just need to put something around the seam where it is supposed to be glued (After so many times marching in the rain, the glue dissolves I think). Real waterproofer is out of the question since payday isn’t here yet and I need them tomorrow night. They are all black BTW. Any suggestions?

I caddy at a North Jersey country club so I am wondering…
What are the most comfortable golf shoes?
most comfortable waterproof golf shoes?
most comfortable "summer" shoes?
I have several pairs but i refuse to caddy in them. (Ecco, Tour 360, etc)
any suggestions???
